Dental Hygienist

Our regular patients come to see Susana for a dental cleaning while a check-up is done by Dr. McCubbin. Many new patients are referred to Susana by the dentist for a good clean before proceeding with further treatment.

Susana uses jet and ultrasonic techniques in the clinic since these are the most effective to remove stains and tartar. Deep cleaning can also be performed under local anaesthesia or conscious sedation, if so desired by the patient.

After working as a dental nurse in Fuengirola for three years, Susana moved to London in 1995, where she received her formal training. Her dedication and caring attitude led her to work in the Eastman Dental Hospital in London, and reach the post of Senior Dental Nurse. Susana completed her Dental Hygiene studies in 2008 and has been taking care of our patients' oral hygiene since 2009. She has a kind and gentle nature which comes through in her work, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
